Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 18/01/2019 regarding the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor. The Action Taken Report submitted before the Court has asked the Government of Delhi to expedite the approval of this project.

The Court says that approach road is absolutely necessary and there should be no delay on the part of the concerned authorities and directs EPCA to convene a general meeting with the concerned stake holders including NCR Transport Corporation, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of Delhi, Ministry of Environment and Forest and submit a report.
