Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding infections in the eyes of bharals ((Himalayan Blue Sheep) in Gangotri National Park, Uttarakhand, 27/02/2019 [1]

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gaurav Kumar Bansal Vs State of Uttarakhand & Others dated 27/02/2019 regarding infections in the eyes of bharals ((Himalayan Blue Sheep) in Gangotri National Park, Uttarakhand.

NGT has been informed that Wildlife Institute of India (WII) have conducted surveys between 24.10.2018 to 09.12.2018 and have visited different areas namely Gangotri-Gaumukh, Nelong, Kedartal, Radragaira, Srikanth, Chaurgaad and Gidara and the team had spotted 196 healthy bharals and no cases of infected individuals were reported.
