Godavarman Thirumulpad Vs Union of India & Others dated 03/05/2019 regarding silviculture felling of trees in the state of Himachal Pradesh. [2] A request for allowing developmental activities in the state like schools, hospital, electric and telecommunication lines, water lines which would involve forest to be diverted was allowed by the SC. Request for allowing pending projects like hydroelectric projects, roads, stone crusher was also received and except for the stone crusher project, the state of Himachal Pradesh was allowed to commence work on the projects.
