Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding pollution caused by NTPC in villages of Badakagaon, Keridari, District Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, 03/05/2019 [1]

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rajeshwar Prasad Raja, Ex. President, Koyala Khadan Sangharsh Samiti Labour Union, Badkagaon, Hazaribagh Vs State of Jharkhand dated 03/05/2019 regarding pollution caused by NTPC in villages Badakagaon, Keridari, Baanka (Katakamdag), Katakamsaandi, Hajaribagh Shahar, District Hajaribagh, Jharkhand, by not properly handling the coal and adversely affecting the health of the inhabitants.

NGT directs Jharkhand Pollution Control Board (State PCB) and Central Pollution Control Board to look into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with law and submit a report.
