Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ranveer Singh Vs State of Gujarat dated 10/10/2019 regarding remedial action against contamination of ground water by M/s Parshanik Chemical, Plot No. 3A & 3B, 1st phase, near Maheswari Logistics Godown, GIDC, VAPI – Gujarat and M/s Vapi Spectorchem Pvt. Ltd., Plot No. A2/12, 1st Phase, near Amardeep Chemicals, GIDS, Vapi, Gujarat.

The matter was taken up in continuation of earlier NGT orders for remedial action. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) submitted reports that remedial actions were taken to control the pollution. In view of the above reports, the NGT directed the GPCB to maintain regular vigil in the area to monitor pollution of ground water.
