Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Anil Vs State of Madhya Pradesh dated 26/11/2019 regarding illegal cutting of trees and encroachment by a colonizer on the government land and Saraswati river at A.B. Road, village Bijalpur, District Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Report submitted by the Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board (MPPCB) acknowledged the cutting of trees without permission. Also, channelization of drain was done by the colonizer without prior permission from the Irrigation Department of the state. The NGT directed the District Magistrate, Indore to take further appropriate action in accordance with law.
