The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) on July 24, 2020 issues the Consumer Protection (Administrative Control over the State Commission and the District Commission) Regulations, 2020 in supersession of the Consumer Protection (Administrative Control over the State Commission and the District Commission) Regulations, 2018. The Regulations aims at creating transparency in matters of consumer disputes. The regulations provide provisions relating to Observance of work, Inspection of State Commission at least once in year by President of National commission, Inspection of the District Commission, recommendation to State Government for administrative action, uploading of orders and pending matters on their respective websites.
