Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sunil Kumar Sharma Vs Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority & Others dated 25/09/2020 regarding encroachment of the green belt, S- Block, South Side of G.T Road Industrial Area, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh in violation of the Master Plan. A building was constructed on the green belt - named as Udyog Bhawan. The report filed by the District Magistrate acknowledged that there was illegal encroachment.

The NGT directed that remedial action be taken by the District Magistrate, Ghaziabad and a compliance report filed.
