The application sought enforcement of NGT order September 29, 2016 requiring remedial action against the polluting dyeing industries in Faridabad, Haryana.
The matter was last considered August 21, 2020 in the light of report of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board - acknowledging the violations and proposing remedial action. The Tribunal accordingly granted time for further action and filing of a report in the matter.
The state PCB filed its action taken report March 12, 2021 and the court directed the PCB to continue further efforts in the matter in accordance with law and disposed of the application.
