Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Bhanwar Lal Bhargava Vs State of Rajasthan dated 21/09/2021.
The matter related to discharge of untreated sewage and industrial effluents on the agriculture lands at village Nokha, district Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The court said that the action taken by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board is inadequate - while prosecution has been initiated against the municipal council, compensation has not been assessed and recovered.

The NGT directed that stringent action is required for enforcement of law and directed the Member Secretary, RSPCB to look into the matter and take remedial action against erring officers for continuously committing and enabling the violation of law.
