Action taken report by the District Collector, Sagar in the matter of Jaya Thakur Vs State of Madhya Pradesh & Others dated 05/4/2022.

The matter related to encroachment of a water body.

A team was constituted for demarcation of the water body and it was found that Lakha Banjara lake (Sagar Talab) is encroached upon by 36 encroachers. On February 11, 2022 some of the persons produced the copy of order, February 4, 2022 passed by the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur and the district administration has stopped further proceedings for removal of encroachments.
