A first-of-its-kind study generates evidence on the health impacts of air pollution amongst varying segments of the population in West Bengal. In the winter season of 2021-22, a field survey was conducted across seven regions in Kolkata, Howrah, Asansol, Haldia, Barrackpore, Bardhhaman and Barasat in West Bengal – to assess the impact of air pollution on public health.
