Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zone Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Santosh Yadav Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 16/01/2024.
A three member committee was directed by the NGT to look into the matter of violation of environmental rules and cutting the green trees in the premises of Government Senior Secondary School, Doomroli, block Neemrana, district Kotputli, Behror, Rajasthan. Various trees were uprooted, damaged and cut down without any permission/authority from the competent department/forest department.
The committee has been directed to visit the site and submit the factual and action taken report within six weeks.
