A Japanese study, undertaken to explore measures to reduce emissions from diesel-powered vehicles, has proposed the replacement of old vehicles with new models. Conducted by experts from the transport ministry, the international trade and industry ministry and the environment agency, the study has said that owners of vehicles manufactured in 1989 or before
