Centre has finally constituted a 22-member regulatory authority that will judge and rate food - right from the kitchens of luxury hotels to the roadside eating joints - according to scientific standards. The authority will finalise the guidelines by March next year and will lay down food standards of the country, including its regulation manufacture, storage, distribution, sale and import.
