Incentives to wind farms may be extended for 10 years [1]

New Delhi: It seems renewable energy may get some more wind to its wings. Bolstered by the entry of large players such as Tata, Reliance and ONGC in this sector, the government is considering a proposal to extend generation-based incentive (GBI) to wind farms for a period of up to 10 years.
