Lieutenant Governor Tejendra Khanna plans to develop the 22-kilometre stretch of the riverbanks in Delhi as a biodiversity zone, Newsline has learnt.
This puts to rest apprehensions of real estate development on the Yamuna floodplains, especially after the Commonwealth Games Village got a go-ahead from the Supreme Court recently.
