Several hundred activists joined by a British MP gathered on Monday at a border crossing between Bangladesh and India to protest against the planned building of a controversial dam by India.
Some experts have warned that two rivers in Bangladesh's Sylhet region -- the Surma and Kushiara -- will dry up if India dams a third river, the Tipaimukh, which runs through both counrties.
