State wants MMRDA to develop water transport [1]

MUMBAI: After two agencies, Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB) and Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), failed to start water transport on the eastern and western coasts of the city, the state government is now planning to hand over the development of water transport services to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
