Sri Lanka allocates another Rs. 2.4 billion for electricity projects [1]

Sri Lanka parliament today approved a supplementary budget of Rs. 2.4 billion for several electricity projects and the constructions of the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant.

Most of the funds of this supplementary budget will be allocated for the electricity projects to be implemented in Sri Lanka's North under the "Uthuru Wasanthaya" programme.
