Srinagar: Due to the ongoing turmoil in the Valley, the summer capital is literally stinking with huge piles of garbage scattered along the roadsides at various points in the city. Heaps of garbage have not been cleared for more than a week in certain parts of the city though some areas were cleared on Sunday when the curfew was lifted and the separatists called off their strike.
