The government will receive more then $9 million from the World Bank through carbon trading under the efficient lighting initiative for distributing free compact fluorescent lamps across the country.
Infrastructure Development Company Ltd (IDCOL) has recently signed a deal with the World Bank and will monitor the fund as a representative of the Bangladesh government.
