Standing Committee on Water Resources (2010-2011) present this Seventh Report on "The Dam Safety Bill, 2010". The Bill was introduced in Lok Sabha and was referred by the Hon‘ble Speaker to the Standing Committee on Water Resources on 9 September, 2010 for examining and Report. In the process of examination of the Bill, the Committee took oral evidence of the representatives of the Ministry of Water Resources and Central Water Commission on
27.12.2010 and 24.03.2011. The Committee also sought written information on various aspects of the Bill from the Ministry.
