Assam shelves NEWRA under pressure from Arunachal, Gogoi roots for revamp of Brahmaputra Board
GUWAHATI: “Wherever big dams have been constructed, protests have been witnessed. But after the construction of such dams, the local people have realized that big dams are beneficial, not destructive,” said Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi while addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Wednesday.
