All 336 mining lease holders in Goa had been asked to file their monthly returns, using the e-filing system according to a circular issued by the Directorate of Mines and Geology.
The Mines and Minerals Development Regulation Act (MMRD) makes filing of monthly e-returns by mining firms compulsory.
