Order of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Jalbiradari & Anr. Vs. The MoEF. dated 07/03/2014 regarding pollution of Mithi river caused by industries. The Tribunal has come down heavily on Municipal Corporation, Mumbai for action not being taken for installation of STP, inspite of directions issued by MPCB, at 37 locations indicated by IIT, Powai, on either side bank of ‘Mithi’ river
