Pune: Bird lovers gathered at the Pashan lake on Sunday to discuss ways to deter people from indulging in tree-felling and fishing in the water body.
“I visit the lake regularly. In some of my recent trips, I was witness to a lot of disturbing activities around the lake. Others like me too had similar experiences. We thought it was time something was done about it,” said Arvind Patole, a bird watcher, who organized the meeting.
