According to Sangwan, the meeting was attended by representatives of DLF, Ansal Enterprises, Uppal Southend and Mayfield Gardens, among others.
In a meeting on Wednesday, Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner Shekhar Vidyarthi directed private developers to shut down all registered tubewells used for supplying drinking water in colonies developed by them. The directions were given to conserve ground water, officials said.
