Status report on implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 [for the period ending 28th February, 2014] [1]

This is an updated status report on implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 for the period ending 28th February, 2014. As per the information collected till 28th February, 2014, 37,28,890 claims have been filed and 14,22,468 titles have been distributed. Further, 28,128 titles were ready for distribution. A total of 30,65,430 claims have been disposed of (82.20%).
