Resilient Energy Union with a Forward-Looking Climate Change Policy is a once in a generation opportunity to ensure the EU’s climate and energy policies match today’s realities. This is not the moment for a re-shuffling of a well-worn deck of cards. Europe needs a strategy to re-energise our economies, to protect our fellow citizens, and to secure our environment. This briefing highlights both concerning blind spots and features in need of greater focus in the European Commission’s new climate and energy vision.
