The Standing Committee on Coal and Steel present this Twenty-second Report (Sixteenth Lok Sabha) on Science & Technology/Research & Development in Mining Sector relating to the Ministry of Mines. The Standing Committee on Coal and Steel (2015-16) had selected the subject for detailed examination and report to the Parliament. The Committee were briefed by the representatives of the Ministry of Mines and PSUs on 30.9.2015 and took oral evidence on 16.2.2016. Based on the oral and written testimony submitted to the Committee, a report on the subject was prepared.
