Wildlife film-maker, Mike Pandey and India's Central Zoo Authority were among the recipients of the first Proggy Awards given by the Indian branch of the NGO, People for Ethical Treatment To Animals.
Umbrellas, brochures, stickers and garbage bags are being distributed amongst the visitors to the beaches of Buenos Aires province as part of an awareness-raising effort to protect the environment in Argentina's resort areas during the Southern Hemisphere summer.
