Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Tamil Nadu Centre for Public Interest Litigation Vs State of Tamil Nadu & Others dated 03/05/2017 regarding awareness pertaining to Minimum Support Price (MSP) and establishment of mandis within an acceptable radius of the holdings and for opening of procurement centres on time.

Apex Court asked the Government of Tamil Nadu whether there is any programme in Doordarshan to make aware the farmers about the MSP, establishment of mandies and procurement centres. P.S. Narsimha, Additional Solicitor General appearing for the State of Tamil Nadu, has asked for time to obtain instructions in this regard.
