Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Mangalam Cement Limited Vs State of Rajasthan & Others dated 07/11/2017 regarding rate of Net Present Value (NPV) by Mangalam Cement Limited, Kota, Rajasthan. Mangalam Cement contention is that the forest land in question is degraded having density of less than of 0.01, the NPV should have been charged at the minimum rate of Rs. 5.80 lakhs per hectare and not at the rate of Rs. 9.0 hectares.
National Green Tribunal dismisses the Application citing that the case has no merit against the order issued by the Divisional Forest Officer and Order dated 30/05/2011 by the Principal Secretary (Forest), State of Rajasthan.
