Mangalam Cement contention is that the forest land in question is degraded having density of less than of 0.01, the NPV should have been charged at the minimum rate of Rs. 5.80 lakhs per hectare and not at the rate of Rs. 9.0 hectares.

The Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 had been enacted by the Government of India on October 25, 1980 through an Act of Parliament. Since then, a lot of development has taken place by way of framing of Forest Conservation Rules and issue of Guidelines from time to time.

Levelized electricity costs (LEC) for PV generation and net present values (NPV) for a specific PV system are presented.
