The report Women working in the rooftop solar sector is one of the first in-depth studies analysing women’s participation in the workforce of the grid-connected renewable sector. Assess the results of a survey of key rooftop solar companies to identify the gender balance across the value chain and the challenges female employees face to working in the sector. Moreover, evaluate companies’ effort to improve the gender balance and make policy recommendations to encourage and enable companies to advance actions.
