Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Pradhan, Gram Sudhar Sabha, Rawa Vs State of Himachal Pradesh dated 09/08/2019 regarding illegal cutting of trees taking place for construction of Hydro Power Project at Village Rawa under Dharmshala Forest Division by M/s Kangra Hydro Power Ventures Pvt. Ltd, Himachal Pradesh.

A report was sought from the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (HoFF), Himachal Pradesh and a direction was also issued to consider revising schedule for compensation with regard to muck dumping and other violations. Accordingly, report furnished on August 6, 2019 states that reclamation plan has been prepared and compensation recovered.
