Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of RWA Jain Colony Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 30/08/2019 regarding pollution by illegal industrial activities in North West Delhi and also violation of Biomedical Waste Management Rules, 2016. The Tribunal had expressed its dissatisfaction at the action taken mentioned in the report by the Delhi Pollution Control Board (DPCC) and said in its order of May 4, 2019 that "once serious violations are noticed, the action has to be commensurate to the violation. It is also noticed that the affidavit of the DPCC acknowledges violation of Bio- Medical Waste Rules for which no prosecution has been initiated."

A fresh action taken report was filed by the DPCC stating that electricity connection of the deafulting units have been disconnected and "prosecution initiated and compensation assessed." The DPCC has been directed to develop methodology for monitoring the recovery of the compensation within a month.
