Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vinod Kumar Jaiswal Vs State of Maharashtra dated 13/02/2020 regarding illegal running of an industrial unit for manufacturing of packaged drinking water in CTS No. 12369/361, Plot No. 40, Ahinsangar, Aurangabad which is stated to be a residential area. Unauthorized drawal of groundwater through dug well and bore well was also alleged.
The NGT directed the industry to pay an environmental compensation of ₹5,86,368/- assessed by the CPCB and the payment has to be done within a period of one month.
