The High Court said that it is the responsibility of the Union of India to ensure that continuous supply of oxygen, vaccines and drugs are made available to the states and Union Territories. Immediate urgent measures must be taken to augment the supply of oxygen in Tamil Nadu and of vaccines and drugs for COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry, the court in its order, May 10, 2021 said.
