Action taken report on behalf of DPCC in the matter of Raj Kumar Vs Union of India in compliance to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order, 08/12/2021.
The NGT had directed the DPCC and SDM, Saraswati Vihar to take action against encroachment in the park opposite the office of the SDM. Garbage, edible packing material, used bottles, cups, electronic waste, buffalo dung, edible waste and torn packaging material was thrown in the park.

A joint encroachment removal action plan was taken, March 25, 2022 by North DMC, Delhi Jal Board, DSIIDC and SDM for removal of encroachment in the shape of temporary structures from the surrounding of the DDA park with the help of Delhi Police. During the action, all the temporary encroachment found on the site have been removed. Garbage dumped nearby was also removed.
