Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai Vs Nitin Shankar Deshpande & Others dated 04/05/2022.

An affidavit with a status report, May 2, 2022 has been filed by the Municipal Commissioner of the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

The status report informed the SC the steps which had been taken by the BMC for inviting, scrutinizing and award of the tenders for the waste water treatment facilities at seven locations, namely, Versova, Bhandup, Ghatkopar, Dharavi, Worli, Bandra and Malad. The BMC has said that the work would be awarded by May 31, 2022.

The court directed listing of a status report before the next day of hearing (July 19, 2022).
