  • Regularly inspect buildings for indoor moisture and mould
  • Dampness and mould related problems should be removed when they occur
  • Buildings should be well-designed, constructed and maintained to prevent excess moisture and microbial growth
  • Removing damp and mould conditions should be given priority to prevent poor health in populations already living with increased burden of disease
