Beijing: After the recent scare over toxic oil made from vegetable waste, over 9600kg of vegetables with excessive pesticide content have been seized in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Regulators are also investigating whether restaurants throughout China are creating food hazards by cooking with recycled oil, some tainted with food waste.
