And whereas, in accordance with the provisions of Electricity Act 2003 and Tariff Policy, RERC has determined the tariff for the mustard husk based Biomass Power Plant in the state to be set up in the year 2009-10 and 2010-11 for sale to distribution companies, the State Government, has decided to issue a comprehensive Policy for Generation of Electricity from Biomass which offers solution to various problems faced by Developers, Investors, IPP
