Whereas, the National Tiger Conservation Authority under clause (c) of sub-section (I) of Section 38-0 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 has the power to lay down normative standards for tourism activities and guidelines for project tiger for tiger conservation in the buffer and core areas of tiger reserves to ensure their due compIiance. These guidelines may be called the National Tiger Conservation Authority (Normative Standards for Tourism activities and Project Tiger) Guidelines, 2012.
