The statement of Ghulam Nabi Azad, the Minister Of Health & Family Welfare And Water Resources, in response to Rajya Sabha Starred Question No. 1978 for 10th February, 2014, asked by Dr. Janardan Waghmare regarding Ground water levels.
Ground water levels - Question raised in Rajya Sabha, 10/02/2014. Minister Of Health & Family Welfare And Water Resources, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that "Ground water monitoring data of CGWB for pre-monsoon 2013 as compared with decadal mean of pre-monsoon (2003-2012) indicates that there was a rise in water level in respect of 44% of the wells and fall in 56% of the wells analysed."
