Question raised in Rajya Sabha on MSP for Cotton, Oilseeds and Pulses, 28/07/2017. The production of pulses, cotton and oilseeds for the years 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 is at Annexure I. Government has increased the Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) of all kharif crops including pulses, cotton & oilseeds for 2017-18 season on the basis of the recommendations of Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP), views of State Governments, Central Ministries/Departments and other relevant factors. The MSPs fixed by the Government for pulses, oilseeds and cotton for 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18 are at Annexure-II.
