Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of National Campaign Committee for Central Legislation on Construction Labour Vs Union of India & Others dated 10/11/2017 regarding effective implementation of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996. Secretary in the Ministry of Labour informed the Apex Court that certain schemes have already been prepared for the benefit of construction workers and a national portal is under construction which can be used by NGOs.
