Prediction equations for spirometry for children from northern India [1]

Children in Delhi have a far lower lung capacity and lung growth rate than kids of the same age in the US, according to this study by the department of pulmonary medicine at the Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute.

The objective of the study was to develop prediction equations for spirometry for children from northern India using current international guidelines for standardization.
